Overview
Arts Education Grants for Schools support projects or programs that address student learning in, through and with the arts. Applicants are encouraged to apply for projects that strengthen instruction and improve student learning in academic areas such as math and reading, projects that enhance the school's current arts programs, or after school programs that connect to the school day curriculum. Applicants are also encouraged to utilize the Phoenix Office of Arts & Culture’s artspace Registry or the Arizona Commission on the Arts’ Artist Roster for qualified programs and artists available to collaborate with classroom teachers, arts projects, afterschool arts programming and teacher training as part of a more comprehensive arts learning plan.
