Family Services Centers

Three multi-purpose family services centers are located throughout the city and provide a broad range of services to promote self-sufficiency for adults and families.

Services include:

Case management
Caseworkers help adult individuals and families resolve social service problems and assist them in achieving self-sufficiency.

Examples of assistance include budgeting, social and life-skills development, counseling and direct services.

Emergency Financial Assistance
This includes rental and utility assistance in crisis situations. Other emergency services are provided as center resources allow.

Phoenix Advocacy and Counseling for the Elderly (PACE)
The PACE program offers casework/counseling services to city of Phoenix residents who are 60 years old and older, services are designed to promote independent living. Caseworkers maintain office hours at all 15 senior centers and the three family services centers.

Examples of assistance include financial assistance, information on senior programs and resources, minor home repair, senior discount programs, nutritional resources and transportation services. Services may be accessed by calling the PACE Intake line at 602-262-6631 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
