Meets twice a week for five weeks beginning in June. Registration begins in early May and space is limited. Free prizes for participation and attendance.

Discovery Guards
FREE AT ALL POOLS!  Experience team work and cooperation while learning basic first aid, rescue breathing and safety around water from a certified Lifeguard, for youth ages 10 to 13. Boating and Personal Floatation Device skills will be taught, too, using an actual boat! Meets twice a week for five weeks, beginning in June. Registration begins in early May and space is limited.  Fun prizes for completing the program.

Junior Lifeguard Training
FREE at select pools!  Youth ages 13 to 15 are exposed to lifeguarding techniques, first aid, and are trained fully in CPR, all taught by Pool Management.  Leadership and responsibility are emphasized, as well as community contribution with volunteer hours at the pool. Successful completion of the Junior Lifeguard program reduces the cost of Lifeguard Training.  Meets three to four times a week at 16 pools, beginning in June.  Registration starts in early May and space is limited and coveted. Free prizes for completing, competing and attending the entire program.

Please note: Cub Club, Discovery Guards, and Junior Lifeguard training require registration that will begin in May, 2010. A live link will be provided here for direct on-line registration.
