New Restrictions

FIRST STREET – POLK TO VAN BUREN STREETS

First Street is scheduled to be closed from 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 13 until 4 p.m. Sunday, March 14 to remove a large crane in conjunction with the Central Park East construction.

First Street through traffic will be detoured at Polk and Van Buren streets to Second Street or Central Avenue.

Local and business access will be maintained.

Drivers are encouraged to allow for additional travel time during this period.

Special Events

FIRST FRIDAYS – MARCH 5 FROM 6 P.M. TO 11 P.M.

The following street will be closed from 3:30 p.m. Friday, March 5 until 1 a.m. Saturday, March 6:

The following streets will be closed from 6 p.m. Friday, March 5 until 1 a.m. Saturday, March 6:

Police officers will be on-site to assist with traffic control.

All streets will be open to normal traffic by 1 a.m. Saturday, March 6.

KID’S CHANCE 5K – SATURDAY, MARCH 6 AT 8 A.M.

This event will start and finish at 16th Avenue and Adams Street.

The following streets will be closed or restricted on Saturday, March 6 at 7:30 a.m.:

Police officers will be on-site to assist with traffic control.

All streets will be open to normal traffic by 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 6.

MATSURI FESTIVAL – FEBRUARY 27–28 FROM 10:30 A.M. TO 4:30 P.M.

This event will take place at Heritage Square.

Access to parking facilities will be maintained.

Monroe Street will be open to normal traffic by 8 p.m. Sunday, February 28.

Reopening After Restrictions

20TH STREET – INDIAN SCHOOL ROAD TO CAMPBELL AVENUE

20th Street is now open to normal traffic from Indian School Road to Campbell Avenue after installation of water lines.
